It was a super-nice day today, my sister got me out of the house all afternoon. Got a decaf iced skim milk latte, and went hunting for RYZE Mushroom coffee for the health benefits. So far no luck find it. And I still have yet to find Dolly Parton's Buttermilk Biscuit Box Mix. I was happy to see that Kroger does carry Grammy-winner Patti Labelle's "Good Life" low-fiber, low-sugar baked goods. She even has her own pancake mix, tailored for the needs of diabetics and those with other dietary restrictions. If her pancake mix is as good as her pies and cobblers, I'll have to try them.

I don't know for sure how "good" the good old days were. I think we all tend to look at the past through rose colored glasses. But I sure do miss my Grandpas; both of them. What Wy says is true. There is something very special about the grandparent/grandchild relationship. The trouble is, you don't really realize how special it is until all of your grandparents are gone.

RFK Jrs autism remarks sicken me. He's just another clown with absolutely no knowledge on what he speaks about. I can speak on behalf of my family and I can say that autism certainly hasn't broken our family. Do we get frustrated, lose patience and get mad? Sure. But autism has also brought us together in supporting our child. Autism has brought us a child who is funny, sweet and incredibly bright although she does learn in a different way.

It is so interesting how all the magas have gone so quiet. I got news for you though. You can't just back away and pretend like nothing ever happened. You are still responsible for the mess we are in. Maybe you thought it was just a fun club to be in for a while, but the rest of us know how serious it all is. With all the work and activism we did in the last 100 years, we have really come a long way only to see it destroyed in a matter of months. Your little club has ruined this once great country, and you are to blame. Period.
