The Wire
- By Jaime BlaisSo we aren’t going to talk about this mass shooting that happened last night in LA with 10 people killed and 10 injured and the shooter has not yet been caught!?!? Because I’m in shambles over it, only 20 minutes away from where my son and daughter-in-law live!
- By Jaime BlaisStarting to go on walks again everyday, now that I have good shoes. Also preparing for the 5k on the 11th. I'm just glad I can walk it and not have to run the whole time.
- By Jaime BlaisWhat a time to be alive. There’s a lot of wild stuff going on in our world right now!
- By Jaime BlaisWe were told by my wife's aunt last month that her mother had a child she gave up for adoption, probably in Chicago in May of 1958. Her name was Barbara Green b.August 24, 1945. Sad to say that she died in a car accident in Colorado where she was from in 1981. My wife's aunt also told her that she thought the baby girl was named Billie Jo. Also, the name Groves or Hundley may have been involved. We have no idea who the father may have been. Barbara met my husbands father about 4 months later married him in 1963. Beth has one brother and is very receptive to knowing her sister. Beth has DNA on 23 and Me and Ancestry but has had no close relatives she can't account for. Any help would be appreciated.

When you mentioned " cornmeal for bread" something went strait to my head, and it was my grandfather's words... He said that my Grandma said things about that great depression times too. What's weird is that My Grandpa got over those hard-times...

This post brings me to my past when my Grandma was alive, so sad not to hear her teachings.
