My dad grew up in a small town, rural community. In the 1940s, he was about 10 or 12 years old and was walking with his mother to his sister’s house for dinner. She was much older and was married and had her own home. To get to her house, they had to walk down a road lined with trees. There were no houses on that section of the road, and since it was late fall, it was already getting dark. My dad said that they suddenly heard the clip clop of a running horse, and it sounded like it was running towards them, but they saw nothing. It kept getting closer, until it seemed like it was right in front of them, and they turned and started to run. The sounds seemed to slow, as if it didn’t want to run them over, but they could smell the animal and feel it’s breath, but still saw nothing. They arrived back home, and the phantom horse was suddenly gone. My dad believed that the horse was the spirit of his own beloved horse that had died a few months before. He thought that it was possibly protecting them from some danger that would befall them if they had continued down that road.

Watched a documentary about Bruce Springsteeen and the making of the "Darkness on the Edge of Town" album. The Boss' music touches me in places that I can't even describe, and the "Darkness" album has always been my favorite, ever since I bought it in the used record store in the late 80's, and it was already ten years old. It's fascinating to see the genius that made that album come together, and Bruce is still on my bucket list.

Makes my blood run cold but is an awesome creepy story! Did your parents ever say they had experiences there as well??  So glad you had moved also.

Finally they have counted all the houses that burned last week. There is 150 houses damage and 1084 houses completely gone. Just a hole in the ground. Finally got all the fires out. I am so glad there was only two people killed. If you would look at the fire site you would think more than would have died. They only had five minutes to leave their house. It is so sad. The fire ate all those houses in 10-12 hours. With winds of 115 miles per hour. What a mess. Please say a prayer for all the people. Please, thank you.

I just spent $500 on a juicer, my life is about to be turned upside down. I’m living different and taking my life more seriously. Going back to my whole food vegan days. Making everything from scratch the way I used to, no processed food, fruit fasting, juice cleanses, the whole nine. The days of my optimum health are returning in every aspect. Physically, mentally, and spiritually. I am going to be floating again.

Hi Sary! Well for one you want to make sure you get a slow masticating juicer. The heat of other juicers can break down the nutrients of the juice. But in my research it’s between the Nama juicer and Omega . I think the Nama is the best depending on what your looking for. I got the Omega because it’s easier to clean and it was said in the review that the Nama was more difficult in that area and that’s what made me make my final decision because I care about convenience lol
