Old Abandoned House in Watsonville CA

The Redman-Hirahira House in Watsonville was built by an architect named William Weeks in 1897 for a farmer named James Redman. In the 1930's, a the Hirahira family bought this house and the property surrounding it. During WWII, the Hirahira family left the house forcibly and were re-located to Manzanar detention camp. It has stood abandoned in the old empty fields between Highway 1 and Highway 152 in Watsonville since the 80s.
