The Hewitt house in the 2003 and 2006 Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie remakes is 1/4 mile off the highway between Granger & Taylor in Texas but the owners are NOT friendly to trespassers. There's good reason why this house causes hairs to stand on end at the sight of it. Several people had been killed in the house in real life a long time ago, at least one in every room! It's a very real haunted place. The current owners live in a small cottage way out back of this haunted house and avoid it. The owners should fix it up on the inside and turn it into a haunted bed and breakfast business! It has become a craze.. The place is so creepy, there wouldn't be many vacancy's, but they already have 1000s of tourists coming there just to look daily.
