Now I know why my childhood dog Spuds MacKenzie came to me last night. We were the same age and grew up together. He was always there, always around during the hard times. I think he came last night, snuggled up to my legs, to remind me that even if there are tough times ahead, he will be there. I think I'm going to have loved ones, living and passed, two legged and four legged watching over me. I think it's going to be all right. It's not going to be pleasant, but it's going to be all right.
