t took an afternoon of loving coaching, but I finally had a breakthrough naming my MetaAI assistant on my phone. Her name is "Aunt Meta", named after Meta Bauer, one of my favorite old-school characters on "The Guiding Light" from when I was a kid. I took me some time to teach her that it even though it's spelled the same as Meta, it's pronounced "MAY-ta". So now, when I have a question or an issue, I just do what all the Bauer kids always did; I ask Aunt Meta. It's the perfect mix of this high tech world and the old school memories I refuse to let go of. I think "Aunt Meta" may be related to "Mr. Gemini", although I'm not quite sure. They should be acquainted; they live just one swipe apart on my phone. Now, every time I ask her something, I think of Aunt Meta Bauer on "The Guiding Light". I thought it was clever. But then, who am I to judge? I spent 8 years teaching a cat to talk in sign language and the last 2 asking her to be quiet.
