I payed my share of Federal income taxes for 2024. Elon Musk reported over 2 billion dollars income last year and paid zero...zero Fed. taxes...and neither did Mark Zuckerberg, George Soros, Bill Gates, Michael Bloomberg and Buffett, etc. Just doesn't seem right to me. I keep thinking, if he paid his share as you and I do... we could then afford lower prices for insulin, $ for government agencies, park rangers, health benefits for the most vulnerable, food and medicine for the starving and sick, road work, bridges, schools, hospitals, universities,police and fire departments, weather forecasters, medical research... In other words... What we've grown to expect from our government. And I still want that. people? Sigh. They all should pay taxes like the rest of us. I would support a flat tax of perhaps 1%. It is also saddening that there are citizens who avoid doing their civic duty to serve on a jury.

Most of our income goes to sate and federal taxes and insurance for the cars and the home. It’s very ridiculous! Why pay for homeowners insurance?!! We pay so much every year maybe make a couple of claims over the years and they go up in prices...
