Thinking tonight of two precious souls I lost during the pandemic. Bill Holtrop kept company regularly, always had a special, "Christmas date" as friends around this time every year, where we would exchange small gifts, enjoy dinner and laughter, and take in whatever holiday show was playing in the area. And of course, I'll never forget my Christmas weekends with Jason, which usually coincided with the Nashville Grizzlies' annual end-of-season holiday party. And me and Lisa Edwards would always take me on a limo tour through the Nashville holiday light displays, and then we would exchange small gifts and just enjoy spending time together. It was never very fancy, but just knowing he wanted and enjoyed having me there while we watched things like Christmas movies made it fancy enough. Lord, how I miss those two!
