If I gave you 100k right now what would you do with it?

If I gave you 100k right now what would you do with it?
it seems that the U.S. Decided to blow lots of money for free!.
I personally, will buy a small land and build a little cabin in the woods and live off the grid.

  • I couldn't ask for more, I take what you offered and run for vacations to Quepos Manuel Antonio in Costa Rica this Summer down there. I work so hard and never go away for a good relax time.

  • Fix my home from the fire we had. We had no home insurance and haven't been able to finish the repair.

  • Finish the divorce my wife and her boyfriend started, buy her out of the house and if there's anything left, replace the leaking roof and windows. Or I could just buy an RV and run away from home.

  • Pay off what I owe on my house and put the rest on my car.... and pay off my student Lon debt

  • I intermediately will call the stock market investments expert to invest buying strong and established stocks only (not risky stock ever).
    LIke these:
    GameStop Corp. (GME).
    Upstart Holdings Inc. (UPST).
    Moderna Inc. (MRNA).
    Devon Energy Corp. (DVN).
    Continental Resources Inc. (CLR).

  • Buy a home that was set up appropriately for our sons disabilities so we can live with them again, and Invest o stocks at the stock market.

  • Buy a little off grid chalet that I've seen for 26k learn to drive and buy a car and  save as many animals as I could.

  • YUUPPP GREAT IDEA..
I'd take my kids and get divorced right away.

  • Get a chef and a house cleaner. and buy land in Costa Rica for us to build and retire too.

  • Repairs and maintenance on my home.
Pay off the rest of my medical debt (I'm so close) and then get a place to live that could accommodate my parents who have taken care of me during these rough health times, somewhere less murdery than where we are at the crime is out of control.

  • After tithe and offerings...
    Mostly towards the house.
Buy another house as an investment.

  • It happened, it was closer to $250,000 but here we go:
1- Got rid of my junker car and bought a newer one, paid cash for it.

  • It's a windfall so we'll tithe & save all the rest...
Pay off all of my debt and save the rest.

  • I'd quit my job and stay home to take care of my dad who has lung cancer and then I could buy a rental property.

  • Get back in my house and get the necessary items that were destroyed and put the rest up. and also I would buy my sister really good hearing aids for starters.

  • Buy a downtown motor home with enough solar panels to power living in it to rent out. Adopt a second dog from shelter, preferably a bully breed since so many are put to sleep and finally pay the down payment on a couple acres and a home and infest the rest.

  • Some money I put in my retirement account, after donating 10% to a charity and the other moneys pay off all my debt and get away from my toxic husband.

  • I would just want enough to put decent food on the table without having to pick and choose the cheap stuff.

  • My friend's daughter in law is dying of bile duct cancer. I would take the whole extended family (17 of us) to Disney for a week. Then I would donate whatever was left to the Make a Wish foundation.

  • Buy a decent grave for my son and build an animal shelter after the pay off everything. Be debt free.

  • Buy new cars for people in my life that desperately need them then go to stores and pay for random peoples groceries just for the fun of seeing them smile.

  • Fix up my house and put it in my retirement account.

  • Absolutely nothing. Save it and act as if it wasn’t there and donations to family & friends, maybe much later after a few years.

  • I think, people have the right to dream a little. In my case, I will travel to Costa Rica and stay for fifteen days vacations just watching the green mountains and the blue ocean waves at the Ocean Pacific. The remaining money, I will pay all stupid bills of my home and the car insurance

  • Pay off debt, have a plastic surgery on my nose, chest, and some lifting, have a steak dinner to celebrate and think about buying a house and probable invest the rest.

  • Pay off medical debt and buy my son a new wheelchair stroller
Pay myself outta debt. Pay off student loans for my daughter and save / invest the rest lol.

  • Invest!!!! multiply that 100k!
When i don’t know what to invest in, it usually tells me I need to invest in myself (self investment is one of the best investment)

  • I like the way you all think!
I instead, I will go and rescue as many animals from high kill shelters as I could. Then, I Go to spa. Invest to stocks so I could spend more on spas

  • Update my kitchen & save the rest at first, then after a few months, pay my bills, stock my fridge and cabinets buy a small house and then put what’s lefts back in savings and keep going about my life. I don’t want a ‘new life’ I just want to be comfortable in my own...

  • Pay off all regular debt and put balance on the house mortgage, then go to pay off my student loans and CC debt and put a down payment for a new car.

  • Buy a house & give my mom some money. Probable I will get myself a good dog.
Then split some amount of money with my daughters. You don't have to follow me because each person is free to think whatever.

  • Pay for my boyfriends medical bills for colon cancer. Pay off my medical debt, buy a motorcycle and try to help someone close to me live pain free.

  • Pay off debt, buy a piece of land, and buy round trip tickets for 6 home to visit family  ( Europe to Cali ) or if that doesn't go thru, then I will use the whole money to support my mentoring program for girls, that teaches them life skills needed to be productive young women.

  • I don’t need it. So, I’d invest it and have a great retirement fund going, even if you say that I'm very fortunate because I don’t need it. I love hearing that people are saying to me, you don’t need extra $$$. No struggle ever!

  •  What does he do? My two jobs are side hustles and I make good money. There are lots of online stuff out there too.
I will buy an apartment, so I'd never have to pay rent anymore

  •  Buy a lot of groceries and fill up the kitchen pantry.
I will catch up on my Bill's, and get all them paid.
Hire people to help me to organize/ paint and clean my home.
I will help the husband to begin dogs training, just train the dogs.

  • Thank the person who gave you the $100 000, then running I will buy a house, a brand new car and a new pair of cowgirl or cowboy boots.

  • I would add on and fix up my house so my elderly grandma and my mother in law could move in with my family.

  • Pay to fix my house that the contractors left unfinished over a year ago. I'd put walls and have a kitchen built and put money up for my 4 kids to save for college. So my parents could move in here as they get older! That means I will invest it on remodeling the house construction.

  •  We must have the best contractors I have heard of some good contractor guys around me, they have done this quite a bit.
Adding to my wishes, I will pay off all my debts ($34,500) and use it to pay the mortgage while my partner and I study (we're currently working fulltime).

  • I'd definitely get a new (used) car because mine is a pain in the ass, and a tiny home for my daughter and I to live in. If there was anything left, I'd put into savings, because my medical bs gets expensive.

  • Payoff debt. Never to get in bed with that devil again.
Pay mortgage off, we’ve got 120k left on it so it would be the perfect amount for that!

  • Quit my horrible toxic mentally draining job and just focus on finishing school and move to a quieter area, save some of the animals in my area and then, I pay off my house and help out my kids.

  • Update my house because some parts need to be fix and updated then, I get the tombstone for my husband. but I really go straight on the mortgage and get it paid off, if I could.
I understand that it is recommendable to pay off bills....then life would be stress free at the beach in FT Lauderdale FL.

  • Put it in the bank & worry a whole lot less! Or maybe pay my mortgage off and look at getting solar panels to be more self-sufficient.
Stop laying awake at night worrying and get some rest.

  • Say thank you, and then start buying a house, probably I will pay off debt, get more dependable vehicle. Additionally, I would finally have running water after 22 years. I could build my dirt bag home, and put rest in nest egg fund, if there is something of that money left of course.

  • Build a home big enough to help my daughter with her autistic children, since my husband decided he no longer cares to share in our relationship after 44 years. My grandchildren deserve all the love I have to offer.

  • I save it and think about my next step. Doing investments right away without measuring consequences can be very catastrophic, concerning about business and money.

  • Only God can make your life stress free, money can’t, property can’t, people can’t, the man of your dreams can’t, nothing but a relationship with Jesus Christ (our Savior) can

  • April Dawn where do you live that you could buy a house with land for 100k? because if you live in Southern Illinois, yes there are old houses there that you could buy from the bank for about that amount. That means you will pay off almost all of my mortgage.

  • I'll take it and run to Manuel Antonio in Costa Rica, and make a small investment near the beach.
