How Do People Have a US Phone Number To Verify Their Identity At Banks Online Like Paypal And Capital One?
The reason why I'm asking the question " People Have a US Phone Number To Verify Their Identity At Banks Online Like Paypal And Capital One? " It is because I’ve been locked out of my Capital One online account for months as I haven’t had a US phone number for a long time. I know there are virtual phone numbers, but most people say they don’t work for online verification.

The question should be.. Why I didn't set up my own phone and activate it in here, The United States? It is obvious that once people have a phone functioning on its own and unrestricted to travel, people can verify their banks accounts from everywhere like Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, Canada, Colombia, Argentina etc.
I have two phone lines and to iPhones plus an extra Samsung phone without restrictions for when i have to travel and calling from a long distance or making connections with WhatsApp. I can't see why to have a problem if you still own a phone line in the U.S.
Right now i'm i the market to buy any phone, and as far of travelling, i think it is better to rent a smart phone at the destination.
I never change my number I kept my T-Mobile account I have unlimited data and unlimited messages and when I want to make a call I put it on airplane mode connect to Wi-Fi and I’m not charged anything for calls. It works fine with my capital one, and my T-Mobile account. I don’t have any problem logging into any place.
You can also download an app for your phone for a VPN and it lets you choose a location you want to portray you’re at...for example United States Canada Europe etc. I hear that it works but I’ve never tried it, because I don’t need it.
Also, I think one solution to that problem could be that, if it is there anyway someone can get you a T-Mobile Sim card from the US and send it to you.
I heard that Paypal bank gets your account frozen if they detect you are overseas and if you aren't careful, they also take all your money and you lose it. The best thing to do when going for a trip and travelling overseas, it is take enough cash and advise your physical bank, your credit card companies that your are doing so for about tre months and never rely only on Paypal bank online.
I also have an unlocked Samsung phone, but the problem with it is that it keeps pressing buttons by itself and i might have to be on the market to buy the newest iPhone to replace it. I hope that when I travel I don't have a trouble downloading money from my Paypal bank account.
Mi and my phone are one, I always have it in my purse and I can't image how someone loses their smartphone, how can they do their transactions online anymore?
If I go to California or South Florida for vacations, I take the phone with the battery charger and enough airtime to talk and chat. This phone business may apply to my travelling plans and vacations desires. i better pay attention to find out if my smart phone is allowed to function overseas before I make my hotel reservation, the car rental selection and reserved it, and finally take a plane. Maybe calling over-there to see if my friends located at the jungle have their phone lines working with some provider already and the relationship with their banks located in the United States, too.
