- By SassyJust thinking reading through some of these very articulate posts, it seems it’s hard be able to set some boundaries with people whom are intrusive of your own , and to balance this with enabling some people in, when as I’ve read here, there are some out in the country without as many ways of connecting, although obviously you can also be lonely in a big city, anyone can feel disconnected. It certainly is a balancing act.
- By SassyNot saying this to ‘suck up’ prob Australian slang, but I wanted to say I fine this space here to express yourself extremely helpful. Many comments a very real, people allow themselves to be vulnerable and discuss issues with depth. Thank you. It def encourages me.
- By SassyIf anyone has a cure for insomnia ,I’m all ears, perhaps I should live in a place with a different time zone, this said in jest. Sleepers, teas, by the way not keen on camomile, if anyone knows a different tea, that’s helpful for sleep ,appreciate anyone’s advice. Melatonin Nup -useless. Exercise I like, no it doesn’t work. I love reading at night, maybe this too stimulating. That’s why I’m probably on this site as it seems most people on book of likes are posting during the day when here it’s night about 8 hours a day ahead. Thank you, hope everyone is doing ok, sorry for whinging :)
- By SassyToday my football team won, I know this seems silly, my team is pretty unsuccessful in terms of we have been around since the 1800’s and only won one premiership - not sure what it’s called in US we only won that particular one by a point, basically the supporters are quite pessimistic so every win means the week is a little better. I noticed one of our players line up for a goal deep breathing and taking that time, I think it was inspiring so the scarf is donned on for a least a week and I’ll copy that player and hope I’m inspired at least a week, next week another story :)
- By SassyThis probably a bit random but I often wonder what my grandmother who lived until 98, surviving world war 2 would think of the world today, particularly given current events . iPads, smartphones, cashless society, Twitter, Facebook etc. Thing is has anything actually really changed ?i find technology so helpful for my scattered mind at times :) Has it though made life easier? That’s my deep thinking for today, keep well ppl
- Sassy commented on Just thinking reading...Hi Evelio, good for you, my son is my anchor. Good for you:)
- Sassy commented on Just thinking reading...I’m sorry Ellen you have had this experience I guess sometimes we have to look outside the family unit and find likeminded friends, it doesn’t matter how many, I hope that you do:)

- Sassy commented on Dear Target, if you...That’s hilarious worked for them as a kid. Nothings changed:)
- Sassy commented on I would pay a hefty sum...I saw an amusing you tube video, with this, perhaps they should just settle stop the circus, clearly they are both at fault, who know what is actually fact, and spend their time helping charities, not for publicity- just try to live a real life.
