If I were to ever have a pregnancy, I could die. And my unborn child could die. I chose not to have children for specific reasons. Not just personal but also medical, which my doctor disclosed with me a few years ago & I only ever told my immediate family. I never felt the need to share my personal reasoning with anyone before until now. Women in my family have had miscarriages, and birthing complications in the past. (Which on it's own is traumatic for any mother to experience). If you disagree with women having basic rights over their own bodies, I sincerely hope you never ever tell me.
