Wendy's Chili Recipe Copycat With Tomato Juice Ranch Style Beans

I just found a top secret lucky treasure from my Momma's older recipe book from when she was a teenager and worked at her local Wendy's Restaurant in the 1970s in Columbus, Ohio which was the very First Wendy's Restaurant in existence that opened in 1969 ... the Wendy's CLASSIC Chili Recipe Copycat " Hack " With Rotel in a Can , Tomato Juice, & Ranch Style Brand Beans, 15 Ounce (Pack of 12)&nbsp ;#CommissionsEarned&nbsp ;#Ad.

Our Momma would make it for us at least twice a month   when growing up, but none of us knew we were eating actual Wendys food. I just shared this in a private cooking group on Facebook too with the name of "The Old Fashioned Hamburgers". For a large stove pot , crockpot, or instant pot, the ingredients you will need are 2 pounds of hamburger (good quality ground chunk beef), 1 46oz can of tomato juice , three 15oz cans of Ranch Style Brand pinto and/or kidney beans with the liquid, 1 medium onion, chopped, 1 rib of green celery, diced, 2 10oz cans of Original Rotel tomatoes and diced green chilies, 2 teaspoons of cumin powder, 2 teaspoons garlic powder, 3 tablespoons of chili powder, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, 2 teaspoons of kosher salt, 2 cups of water. First, you will need to thoroughly brown the  beef and drain the fat. Then, crumble the beef into pea-sized pieces. In the large pot, combine the meat and all  of the other ingredients and bring to simmer over low heat. Cook for 6 to 8 minutes on High in your instant pot, 2 to 2-½ hours on the stove-top, or 5 to 6 hours in the crockpot (slow cooker). This recipes serves 10-12 people and I personally recommend topping your serving with shredded cheddar cheese or sour cream and a hint more of the black pepper.

This soup is good, it was made in a slow cooker and for sure it will please the best home or restaurant guests, the original Rotel tomatoes and diced green chilies with the two teaspoons of cumin powder, two tps of garlic powder, three tablespoons of chili powder, one teaspoon of black pepper, two teaspoons of kosher salt will accomplish the excellent and delicious dish made or cooked in America.

I  was wondering what was the price when people went to buy it at 1970's in Columbus? Because it doesn't matter how faithfully I try the recipe is explained in here, no offense but, it won't taste like the real commercial dish made from that restaurant company, Maybe the price was 0.25 $

The hamburger was delicious those days too, and it looks pretty served inside that old fashioned yellow cup. Who knows which other foods they were selling to customers at those times ago. The whole ingredients inside that recipe look and it sounds like a soup or a special meat mixed restaurant dish.
