Hot Dog Cart Business License Florida
Two years ago, I decided to work for myself. I bought a hot dog cart on eBay and a Sam's Club membership to get good deals on hot dogs, buns, condiments, disposable plates, napkins, etc. To open my hot dog stand business in Naples Florida, I was required to get a license at the Department of Business and Professional Regulation and a Food Handling and Sanitation Certificate or Food Permit at the State of Florida Department of Public Health. I got a one-year license which cost me $1,000, and the permit was about $340. I was not required to apply for any federal licenses or permits. I make an average profit of $45,000 a year, which is double what I had made at my night shift job at Home Depot. Choosing to be a hot dog vendor has been one of the best decisions I have made in my life, it makes me happy!
